NISA: Novel approaches for in situ analysis of biomolecules

The NISA programme aims to integrate three strands of mass spectrometry to address the question:

How can ambient surface mass spectrometry, ion mobility spectrometry and gas-phase ion chemistry be combined to address key challenges for in situ analysis of biomolecules including spectral complexity, dynamic range, separation of isomers, structural elucidation (chemical structure & 3-D shape)?
