Rob passed his Viva Voce 8th October 2014 with flying colours
The experience was less frightening than expected and rather enjoyable. Apart from many small contributions helping other members of the group, Rob worked on aging in unicellular organisms in his PhD (just published in BMC Biology) and on syntrophy, i.e. interspecies hydrogen transfer (to be submitted soon).
Rob will continue to work in our group as a Research Fellow leading the development of eGUT
