iDynoMiCS Protocol File Generator Released

Dear iDynoMiCS users and supporters

We have a little Christmas present for you, whether you celebrate Christmas or not, we think you won't mind a little present.

Kieran has written a tool that will guide you through the process of generating a protocol file which was somewhat daunting. The web-based (PHP) form allows you to specify the details of the simulation. Our web server then generates the XML protocol file from this information, saving this to your computer. Each parameter is accompanied by a description, and links provided to the relevant section of the tutorial should you require more information.

I am sure you will join me in thanking Kieran for a great job.

Thanks also to Carolin Stang and Gavin Meulaugh for testing the pre-release version - Kieran has implemented all suggested improvements!

Do let us know if you have any other ideas for improvements. While it is usually not polite to complain about a present, this is an exception. As you know, we welcome any feedback, whether via the email list or our github issue tracking system or by personal email!

Have a good break and a prosperous 2014.
