Fancy a career change?  Why not think about joining the team...we welcome approaches from people who may be interested in joining the group at all sorts of levels.

PhD STUDENTS.  We typically recruit one PhD student per year.  Details of currently available PhD projects are listed on our PhD page and on the FindaPhD website, although we also welcome approaches from talented students with their own project ideas.

POST-DOCS.  If you are interested in joining the group as a post-doc, we would normally expect you to apply for your own fellowship (for example, from the Wellcome Trust or National Institute of Health).  We are more than happy to help people put together fellowship applications - contact Robin if you are interested in this option.  In addition, we sometimes have grant-funded post-doc positions available - these are advertised on www.jobs.ac.uk and here.

PROJECT STUDENTS & INTERNSHIPS.  We often take undergraduate and Masters-level students for research projects in the group.  Those applying from outside the University of Birmingham should send a C.V. to Robin, describing the project they wish to work on and why.
