We work on a variety of pathogenic microbes. We spend a particularly large amount of time worrying about are the fatal fungus Cryptococcus neoformans (the blue circle, left, being eaten by a macrophage), but we also work on several other that interact with phagocytes, like the blue zygomycete spores in the movie on the right.
