‘Vomocytosis’.  A J774 macrophage has internalised a single Cryptococcus cell (arrowed).  The phagosome containing the pathogen slowly swells (due to secretion of capsular polysaccharide by the yeast).  After more than six hours, the pathogen is suddenly expelled.  This expulsion also provides a route for direct transmission of the pathogen to a neighbouring cell (click here for the paper about this process or here to see the movies).
